I’m Yasmin—a mother, stepmom, wife, professional dancer, and lover of all things creative.
Dance is a huge part of my life, but I’m also a science nerd with a passion for exploring a variety of interests. Here, I share insights on my greatest loves, from dance and fashion to beauty, fitness, health, interior design, and the beautiful journey of motherhood.
I started this blog to offer my knowledge and experiences, hoping you’ll find something inspiring or relatable to incorporate into your life. I truly appreciate you being here and can’t wait to connect with you!
Dance has always been my first love.
I began my journey as a professional competitor, performing on national stages and eventually internationally, fueled by a deep passion for movement and connection. By 19, I was a certified dance instructor—teaching students while continuing to train, compete, and grow in the art I loved most.
My unique heritage—Arab and Latina—has always shaped the way I move, choreograph, and express emotion through dance. It’s this cultural richness that gives my style its depth and soul, and it’s what I love sharing most with others.
Still, life expanded in beautiful and demanding ways. I earned my B.S. in Civil Engineering (where I also met my amazing husband ♥︎), built a career in the architectural and engineering world, and stepped fully into motherhood. Between school, work, and raising a growing family, dance slowly took a back seat – though it never truly left me.
Returning to dance became a conscious choice to reconnect with a part of myself that felt essential. Today, I balance my engineering career with my true calling: teaching, mentoring, and empowering others through movement. My mission is to help women and couples build confidence, reconnect with their bodies, and experience the joy of dance—whether they’re stepping onto the floor for the first time or rediscovering a long-held passion.
Whether through private coaching, group masterclasses, or creative collaborations, my work is rooted in the belief that movement is both art and healing—and that it’s never too late to come home to what you love.
If something in you is ready to move again, I’d be honored to walk that path with you.
Fluent in English (obviously) and Spanish (thanks, Mom!). Currently learning Arabic—Dad forgot that part. 😄
Twin mom, stepmom, full-time chaos coordinator—with four amazing kids who keep me dancing every day.
While dating, my husband Edson and I won a university talent show with a Hustle routine—my one and only 1st place dance trophy!
Before returning to dance, I earned a civil engineering degree and spent 6 years in the AEC world—hard hat and all.
